With an unwavering passion for filmmaking, Nnabuike’s journey into the world of entertainment began during his secondary school years and was solidified during his first visit with his mentor Byron Ene to Amaka Igwe Studios in 2003. This initial encounter ignited a spark within him that would eventually shape his entire career.
In 2010, Nnabuike reimmersed himself in the entertainment industry and soon became an integral part of the industry’s transformation. His dedication and skills led him to join Tecknikal Garranti, a team entrusted with rebuilding the iconic “Who Wants To Be A Millionaire” stage following a devastating fire outbreak at Ultima studios in 2011. This experience marked a turning point in Nnabuike’s journey, allowing him to contribute to the revival of a beloved show and solidify his commitment to the world of filmmaking.
Nnabuike’s journey led him to Ultima studios, where he further honed his craft. His eagerness to learn and grow saw him mastering the intricacies of operating the Jimmy Jib in 2012, a skill that set him apart as a versatile professional in the industry. His passion for filmmaking only intensified with time, and he continued to expand his skillset. In 2013, Nnabuike embraced the art of steadicam operation, adding another layer of expertise to his repertoire and this brought about his popular title as SteadiPaul.
One of the highlights of SteadiPaul’s illustrious career came in May 2022, when he embraced the arrival of the Arri Trinity in Nigeria. Always at the forefront of innovation, he swiftly adapted to this cutting-edge technology, showcasing his adaptability and commitment to pushing the boundaries of his craft.
